*Scheduling Policy

Changes to appointments must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.

*Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

If cancellation notice is less than 48 hours, a cancellation fee of [X]% of the service cost will apply.

*Payment Policy

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless prior arrangements are made.

We accept credit cards, cash, checks, venmo, and paypal

*Safety Policy

For your safety and ours, clients must ensure pets are secured and children are supervised during service.

We reserve the right to refuse service if unsafe conditions are present.

*Other Important Policies

We strive for 100% satisfaction. If you have concerns about the service, please contact us within 24 hours.

Service scope is as outlined in the job description; any additional requests may require extra charges.

 

 

Murphy Services Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: 4/1/2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the services provided by Murphy Services (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) to clients (“Client” or “you”). By scheduling or receiving services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Services Provided
Murphy Services provides residential and commercial cleaning services, as well as residential and commercial handyman services in St. Augustine, Florida and surrounding areas.

2. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates are based on the information provided at the time of the final quote . Final pricing may vary depending on actual conditions encountered. Additional services requested at the time of service may result in additional charges.

3. Scheduling and Access
Clients agree to provide safe and timely access to the property at the scheduled service time. If access is not provided, a cancellation or lockout fee may apply.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee that will be determined by the owner based on the scheduled service cost.

5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, checks. And credit cards (see Jobber website). Late payments may incur additional fees.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the service, you must notify us same day. We will make reasonable efforts to correct any issues.

7. Client Responsibilities
Clients must:

Provide a safe working environment
Secure pets during service
Disclose any hazards or special conditions
8. Limitation of Liability
Murphy Services is not liable for:

Pre-existing damage
Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by improper installation or materials
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

9. Handyman Services Disclaimer
Murphy Services is not a licensed contractor for major structural, electrical, or plumbing work unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to refuse services that require licensed professionals.

10. Property Condition and Cleaning Limitations
We do not guarantee removal of all stains, odors, or buildup, especially in cases of neglect or permanent damage.

11. Breakage and Damage
While we take care to prevent damage, accidental damage may occur. Any claims must be reported within 24 hours. We will assess and determine appropriate resolution.

12. Supplies and Equipment
We provide our own cleaning supplies and equipment unless otherwise agreed.

13. Weather and External Conditions
Outdoor services may be rescheduled due to weather conditions for safety reasons.

14. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services at any time for safety concerns or inappropriate behavior.

15. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

16. Changes to Terms
Murphy Services reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
